Are you ready for the next holiday? No, not Thanksgiving, we've still got a few days to go for that one. I'm talking about National Family Volunteer Day, the Saturday before Thanksgiving. That's this Saturday, November 22nd.
I love this opportunity to take a break from holiday prep. My family will join families across the country making a meaningful difference together.
Here are some ways you can join in the fun!
- Find a project at Generation On, some of which were contributed by the experts here at Doing Good Together™.
- Join us on Friday if you happen to be in the Twin Cites this weekend. We'll be at the Midtown Global Market from 5 to 8 on Friday, November 21. Families are invited to come together to do simple, hands-on service projects, reflect on the importance of giving back, and learn about opportunities to get involved in their community.
- Find a local opportunity to do good. Take a look at our local listings. Visit seniors, help a neighbor, or visit the generationOn site to find a local event.
- Share your story! After you've volunteered, visit generationOn to inspire other families and potentially win some great prizes!
