A Plan to End Hunger in Minnesota

If you find yourself with busy hands for an hour, dig up this excellent hour on Minnesota Public Radio. Tuesday’s Midday broadcast Can We End Hunger in Minnesota, invited Rob Zeaske, the executive director of Second Harvest Heartland, and Robbin Johnson, president of the Cargill Foundation to discuss Hunger-Free Minnesota‘s new three-year effort to provide 100 million more meals a year for hungry adults and children in Minnesota.

As always, the conversation is nuanced and enlightening, and it is an excellent reminder that we should all be working to end hunger close to home. For my little family, it’s a good reminder to make another grocery drop at the local food shelf.
