Katie’s Krops is a national nonprofit started by a 9-year-old with a dream to feed the hungry. Her organization empowers youth to start “giving gardens.” The produce grown is donated to a local food pantry, homeless shelter or soup kitchen. [Read more…] Once each year, Katie's Krops offers youth (age 9 to 14) the opportunity to apply to become a Katie’s Krops Grower. The annual application period is from October 1st through December 31st. Winners are notified in February.
