DGT 2021 Best Picks

DGT 2021 Best Picks

The beginning of a new year is one of my favorite times in parenting. It is a fresh start with an opportunity to infuse new ideas, love, hope, and kindness into my daily routine. I hope you find the resources you need at Doing Good Together to do the same.

We have such gratitude for our big-hearted community of families and partners that have supported us this past year. You are all inspirational in the ways you take what we create and find energy, space, and time to prioritize your values in teaching your children. We want to hear from you! Please, take two minutes and share why you support DGT and how you are using our resources in creative and innovative ways.

This month, I want to spotlight DGT’s best creations of 2021 in case you missed them, want to revisit them, or want to share them with others. (Yes, please do so!). Be sure to subscribe to our blog, newsletter, and/or volunteer listings so you can easily find all the good we create in 2022!

Wishing you peace, joy, love, and health this 2022.
– MiaLisa Millares, Executive Director

Our Big-Hearted Families Director, Sarah Aadland, has been guest speaking on several podcasts this year. Check out one of the podcasts that reflects on empathy, compassion, and community.

Expanded Membership Opportunities

We launched our family and classroom memberships which provide unique, timely, and valuable new content that is great for families, youth groups, or classrooms. We offer member-exclusive deals as well. In addition, we are launching a new membership gathering that allows members to get live webinars and access to a kindness community.

Replays of our Saturday 2021 video series will be included in our Membership Library.

2021 Virtual Festival of Giving

Our second Virtual Festival of Giving was successful and popular. We had four weeks of author-read books and activities to pair with them. Over the coming weeks, the replays of this event will be available in our Members Only Library. Here is a great learning plan that highlights one of the books, Maddi’s Fridge, which focused on food insecurity. Check out the benefits of membership here.
