Who Can Make a Difference?

Encourage young learners to understand that everyone has the power to make a difference, just like everyone needs help and support sometimes.

Does Kindness Matter?

Help young learners imagine the impact of widening the circle of their concern and care beyond their immediate friends and family. Then craft a unique game designed to get everyone thinking about how they can start ripples of kindness.

What is a Philanthropist?

Young learners will discuss the value of giving their time, treasure, and talents to a charity they care about. Then have fun creating a Giving Jar while setting goals for an at-home micro-philanthropy effort.

How Can We Help the Hungry?

Spend time with young learners debunking some of the myths that stigmatize hunger, introduce them to your local food pantry, and kickstart a food drive together!

How can we soothe anxiety?

Work together to create stress fidgets and cheerful cards to share with others experiencing stress. This lesson also empowers young learners to manage their own stress and gives them tools to lead conversations about stress and anxiety at home.

How can we celebrate diverse stories?

Young book lovers will enjoy sharing their favorite books, reflecting on the importance of diversity in the stories we read, and encouraging their communities to read widely.

How can we comfort those who are ill?

This lesson helps young learners provide meaningful encouragement, comfort, and distraction from the long days of treatment and convalescence.
