Good Stories
Thank you for sharing your kindness with others!
We're happy to hear stories of kindness in action. Here's just a small sample of stories we've heard from Doing Good Together™ Families.
Doing Good Together helped us organize an engaging service fair for over 200 students! Our 9th grade class rotated between stations where they learned about various needs in our community and organizations serving those needs.
I'm always looking for ways to engage my toddler in acts of kindness and community service, and this was a hit. She was so proud of her service to the community and now wants street clean-up to be a regular activity.
We hosted a Sweet 16 "Party with Purpose" for my daughter Emi yesterday, and a bunch of big-hearted teens put together "welcome kits" for newborns – all to be donated to GOOD+ Foundation.
My son, his best friend and I volunteered as ushers for "The Story of Ruby Bridges" and it was a learning moment for all of us. My son and his friend are impressionable third graders that don't have to face the harsh reality that Ruby did at such a young age, but a play like this exposed them to what divisiveness for the wrong reasons can lead to.
Malin is a soon to be 8-year-old Denverite who has chosen to hold a wholly unconventional birthday party. Inspired by a Mitzvah (good deed) project and Chelsea Clinton's book It's Your World, she has decided to give back to the community...
From an exhaustive list of birthday party options, we are so proud that our daughter Mercedes chose to celebrate by packing food with friends at Feed My Starving Children.

Somerset Elementary in Minneapolis continued the tradition of celebrating “Kindness Day” with a service learning approach to Valentine’s Day. With help from the non-profit Doing Good Together, they hosted a Service Fair and completed a variety of projects for local chairites.
