Jenny Friedman, PhD, an authority on family philanthropy, is the Founder/Executive Director of Doing Good Together™. Jenny has worked with families and children all her life, as a teacher, clinician and volunteer. She has also written over 100 articles on child development, education and parenting for both local and national publications, including ParentsParenting, and American Baby. She authored the book The Busy Families Guide to Volunteeringand co-authored Doing Good Together: 101 Easy, Meaningful Service Projects for Families, Schools and Communities. As executive director of DGT, Jenny creates unique tools and resources to build caring and civic engagement in children, and finds ways to deepen the impact of kindness and service on a local and national level.

Sarah Aadland, MPP is striving to make family volunteering a meaningful habit for her three animal-loving, social-justice-seeking, mud-pie-making kiddos. As Director of DGT's Big-Hearted Families™ Program, she creates resources for families that want to develop a kindness practice at home. For her own family and for participants in the Big-Hearted Families Membership Circle, Sarah has watched family volunteering create empowered kids, more connected families, and stronger communities. In addition to her children, Sarah tends a large garden, a small flock of chickens, and a habit of mindfulness amid the necessary rituals of parenting.

Following over a decade of supporting and training nonprofit and philanthropic leaders, Leah Lundquist is having fun supporting families in engaging more deeply with each other and their community. As the Director of Doing Good Together™ Family Service Fairs, Leah organizes family-friendly events bringing people together to create fun, hands-on projects supporting an array of critical needs in the community. Leah's favorite part of her job is consulting with and testing out all the great DGT resources, book suggestions and project ideas with her two curious, big-hearted kids.

Laurie Levi, MA, MSW has long believed in the power of volunteering to make a difference in our world. Laurie didn't discover Doing Good Together™ until her children were teenagers but she was so excited by the idea of families volunteering together that she offered her services to DGT as a volunteer. Laurie has worked and volunteered in a variety of different nonprofit and educational organizations. As the Director of Administration and Family Volunteer Connections Program, Laurie coordinates DGT's monthly Family Friendly Volunteer Opportunities listings and handles the behind the scenes administrative details that go into running this awesome nonprofit.

Diana Allard learned about Doing Good Together™ and decided it was crucial to share it with the masses. As the Director of Marketing and Communications, she hopes to do just that. She loves the fact that there's something for everyone to do when it comes to kindness, service, and making the world a better place. Along with her "at home" work raising two kids, Diana has previous experience in marketing communications, freelance writing & editing, and entrepreneurial endeavors. She is a graduate of Drake University and lives in in Medina, MN with her husband, son, and daughter.

Ashley Raggio is the Director, Doing Good Together, Silicon Valley.  She is a Bay Area native who currently lives in San Jose, CA with her husband and three young boys.  Ashley has her M.Ed. in Higher Education Leadership and has worked in Community Service-Learning with college students as well as directing a program for a non-profit community partner with elementary schools.  Since having children, she has consistently volunteered with her boys’ schools, the Parents of Multiples group in Silicon Valley and her family’s church. Ashley is passionate about service, education and the intersection of these ideas in both the classroom and in the family so she is bringing Doing Good Together to her community!
