Doing Good Together™ Announces Loss of Board Chair

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Doing Good Together (DGT) is sad to share the passing of our Board Chair, Susan Humiston. This is a profound loss for our organization and for all who had the privilege of working alongside her. Susan was unflappable. She was kind, generous, and loved her son, her work as a respected member of the legal community in Minnesota, and giving back.

Susan was committed to supporting Doing Good Together and its mission of empowering families to raise children who care and contribute. As she shared with our organization, her passion for helping raise the next generation of leaders in kindness came first from seeing service and volunteerism modeled by her parents, and after becoming a parent herself, she wanted to find a way to connect with those roots in a way that could coincide with a busy career. She knew the importance of making time for a life lived with empathy, and she shared that with the world.

Her life proves an inspiration for us all.

Our organization is deeply grateful for the many contributions Susan made during her service on the Board of Directors and her tenure as Board Chair.
