Small Acts of Kindness Matter

Small Acts of Kindness Matter

In these uncertain times, I am trying to hold fast to the notion that kindness matters. Research shows that even small acts of kindness make a greater impact than expected. So this year, I am trying not to diminish the little things that I can do. Kindness matters and every little act of kindness makes an impact. Join me in helping our community a little at a time. Kindness truly does make a difference. Let’s make a difference together this month.

With gratitude,

Building Resilient Community. So many people have reached out asking how to help our MN community. We pulled together a resource page for families in Minnesota or beyond. Here are some small but impactful ways to help.

Write Letters of Love. Create heartfelt letters or cards for nursing home residents, veterans, or isolated individuals. Check out this resource we created in 2020 with ideas of kindness from a distance. There are lots of card templates and easy ideas for kindness from home!

Kits for Unhoused Individuals. Spend some time this month assembling kindness kits for unhoused individuals. Here are some ideas for compiling kits to distribute.

Kindness Curriculum. This Valentine’s Day, explore how to be kind to our neighbors and share empathy and compassion in our community. Download this free curriculum for kindness: Beyond Our Neighbors: A Curriculum for Expanding Empathy and Compassion to “Others”
